The Journalist’s approach
This is Elizabeth @ejordan12 oh and she’s my wife, so if I sound bias, you’re probably right. But, for good reason. She is caring beyond words, she gives of her time graciously, and she finds ways to make things work like Macgiver would. She is always in the now and in the know. Elizabeth started as a reporter for the globe writing obits and when she left she had rebuilt the health section of Boston dot com to prominent readership. She is the first IVF baby born in the United States in 1981, so she understands pressure and expectations. The pressure, of others and herself to be as close to perfection as possible, or 5 million plus babies might not be here today. She build Zelle dot com for RunnersWorld. Elizabeth built it from scratch with one tech guy. A website for women runners by women runners, it got over a million page views from the outset. Now she helps the homeless and in recovery of Boston as the chapter director of Back On My Feet Boston to find jobs, education, housing and courage, through the common ground of running/walking 3 mornings a week before sunrise. “Because if you can get up and go running that early you can go to work and feel proud of what you’ve accomplished”, a member said. Elizabeth believes, she can make a difference in the world around her by choosing to #justshowup beside them for her own well being too. So yeah I may be bias, but she is someone to admire and hold dear if your married to her or not. To read more of her own passionate insights click here!
